Privacy notice
Last updated 11 September 2026
This notice explains what personal information EVO Services collects through evosvc.com, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what rights you have.
Who we are
EVO Services is the data controller for the information described here. That means we decide why and how it is used.
EVO Services is a trading name of Aiden Hill, a sole trader based in Glasgow, Scotland. Aiden Hill is the data controller for the information described here. Email ahill@evosvc.com, phone 07766 720264.
What we collect and why
When you ask for a quote
The quote form asks for your name, email address, phone number, business name, what your business does, your location, your website address, your budget and timeline, and the answers you give about the work you need. We use this to prepare your quote and to talk to you about it.
Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: you have asked us for a price, and we need these details to give you one. If you would rather not use the form, call or email us instead.
When you become a client
We hold your contact details, the work we agree, and the figures shown in your dashboard, such as website visitors, calls, enquiries, reviews, rankings and money taken online. Our lawful basis is performance of a contract. We also keep records we are required to keep for tax, which is a legal obligation.
When you log in to your dashboard
Logins are handled by Google Firebase Authentication. It stores your email address and a password that is encrypted so that nobody, including us, can read it. We can see your email address and when you last signed in.
When you email or call us
We keep the correspondence so we have a record of what was agreed.
Technical information
Our hosting provider records standard technical information such as IP addresses when a page is requested, which is used to deliver the site and keep it secure. We do not run analytics, advertising or tracking tools on this website.
Who else sees it
We do not sell your information and we do not add you to marketing lists without asking. We do use these service providers, who act on our instructions:
| Provider | What they do | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Web3Forms | Delivers quote form submissions to our inbox | Outside the UK |
| Google Firebase | Client logins and the information shown in your dashboard | Data stored in the UK or EU, company based in the US |
| Our website host | Serves the website itself | Outside the UK |
| IONOS | Our business email | UK and EU |
Where information is handled outside the UK, we rely on the safeguards in those providers' data processing terms, which include the UK addendum to the standard contractual clauses. We may also share information when the law requires it, for example with HMRC or in response to a court order.
How long we keep it
- Quote requests that do not become work: up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Client records: for as long as you are a client, then 6 years, because tax rules require us to keep business records.
- Dashboard figures: while you are a client and for 12 months afterwards, so you can still get a copy.
- Emails: normally 24 months unless they relate to work we did for you.
Cookies and storage on your device
This website sets no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. It stores only the following on your device, and you can clear all of it at any time by clearing site data in your browser.
| What | Why | When |
|---|---|---|
| Your saved quote answers | So you can close the page and come back to a part-finished quote | Only if you tick "Save my answers on this device". Cleared when you send the form, or when you untick the box |
| Sign-in information for the client dashboard | Keeps you signed in so you do not have to log in on every page | Only when you use the client login, which you have asked us for |
| "Keep me signed in" choice and your login email | So the login page fills in your email, and you stay signed in on your own device. Untick "Keep me signed in" and you are signed out when you close the browser, and your email is not remembered | Only when you use the client login |
| A note that you are signed in | So the main website shows "My dashboard" instead of asking you to log in again | Only while you are signed in. Removed when you sign out |
| When you last asked for a password reset | Stops repeat taps sending lots of emails, with a 60-second wait | Only after you tap "Forgot your password?" |
| Your cookie choice | So the note does not keep appearing, and so we respect your choice | After you tap "Only necessary" or "Accept all" on the note |
| Which business you last viewed | Clients with more than one business see the right dashboard first | Only when you are signed in |
None of this is used for advertising or tracking. The first time you visit, a short note asks you to choose. "Only necessary" keeps the storage needed to sign in to the client dashboard, and turns off the optional extras: saved quote answers and your remembered login email. "Accept all" allows those extras too. Even then, saved quote answers are only kept if you tick the box, which is not ticked for you. To change your choice, clear site data for evosvc.com in your browser and the note will appear again.
We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or store anything on your device, and does not identify you.
Your rights

- tell you what information we hold about you, and give you a copy;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete information where we no longer need it;

- send your information to another provider where that applies;
- withdraw any consent you have given, at any time.
